Their day started at Hotel El Convento, one of Old San Juan’s most iconic boutique hotels. With its Spanish colonial architecture, arched hallways, and golden light filtering through the antique windows, it was the perfect place to capture Kelly and Rasheed’s preparation. The calm before the ceremony was filled with meaningful exchanges, laughter, and a quiet sense of excitement for what was to come.

Ceremony at San Juan Cathedral

Just steps from the hotel, Kelly and Rasheed exchanged vows inside the stunning San Juan Cathedral. The space is timeless and majestic, one of the oldest cathedrals in the Americas. Their ceremony was accompanied by live music from Duo Romanza, adding a graceful, emotional layer to an already powerful moment. The light filtering through the stained glass felt like a blessing over every word and glance exchanged at the altar.

A Quick Escape for Sunset Portraits

During cocktail hour, we took advantage of the golden hour and stepped outside the venue for a quick photo session. The cobblestone streets and pastel-colored buildings surrounding Hotel El Convento created the perfect backdrop. We wandered just a few steps away and captured intimate portraits of Kelly and Rasheed as the sun began to set over Old San Juan. The light was soft and warm, complementing their connection beautifully and adding a romantic glow to their gallery. These portraits became some of their favorites from the day.

A custom portrait space was set up at the Salon Campeche Mezzanine, where each guest had the opportunity to be photographed, a meaningful keepsake and a beautiful experience for all.
