After spending a week exploring new destinations, Gabriel and I were feeling a little restless. We needed a change of scenery but had no concrete plans in mind. That's when Gabriel suggested we head to Florence for a night at least. We both knew the city pretty well and had our favorite spots that we were itching to revisit.
As we arrived in Florence, a sense of familiarity washed over us. It was comforting to be in a place we knew so well. We headed straight to our favorite porchetta place called I' Girone De' Ghiotti, eagerly anticipating the crispy, succulent pork that we remembered so well. It was every bit as delicious as we remembered, and we savored every bite.
After lunch, we wandered around the city, taking in the sights and sounds of Florence. As the evening approached, we made our way to our all-time favorite Indian restaurant, Haveli Indian Restaurant. The flavors of the spices and the aroma of the curries took us back to our previous visits, and we relished every dish.
As we sat there enjoying our meal, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to revisit our favorite spots and relive old memories. It was a refreshing change of pace, and we felt rejuvenated and ready to continue our travels once again.
